General Requirements
  • The way in which the logo and mark are employed must not be regarded as confirming either the quality or function of the product. The organization certified must inform its customers and final consumers that the certificate is granted on the understanding that the approved management system is followed. If any false impression is given, final responsibility for that lies with the client.

  • To support the logo’s visual integrity, it is preferable to maintain some empty space in a bright colour, white where possible, surrounding the logo.

  • The GMC’s logo, including GMC’s approval code, should be inserted alongside the logo and be of the same size.

  • The GMC logo or mark shall not be used on a product or product packaging nor in any other way that may be interpreted as denoting product conformity.

  • The following statement may be used “This product has been manufactured or packaged by ABC PTY LTD which management system (e.g. quality, environment) certified by GMC PTY LTD to ISO XXXX

  • No organizations undertaking calibrations or inspections may use GMC’s mark or logo on any certificates, laboratory tests, or inspection or calibration reports.

  • When a certificate is suspended or withdrawn, the client must immediately cease employing the logo and mark, particularly but not exclusively on advertising.

  • If the scope of a certificate is reduced, the client must alter its advertising accordingly.

  • The client will not undertake advertising in any way that could give the impression that the certificate is applicable to any sites or activities that it does not cover.

Size and Color of the Mark & Logo

Where the mark and logo are employed they should be displayed in an easily visible manner; as for different usages the size may have to be increased or decreased from the original, it is best to retain the original proportions; the smallest and largest sizes have been set and all clients should abide by these:

  • The minimum height of the logo is 12 mm

  • Usable colours have been employed in order to allow every client to use the logo easily. It is not permitted to change the colour of the logo.

  • The logo must be totally transparent and fully legible, and no modifications may be made to it.

  • Where necessary the client must consult with GMC regarding the employment of the Certification mark.

If the Certification status, documents or marks are used incorrectly or misleadingly, GMC may require remedial action to be taken, may suspend or withdraw any certificate, may inform others of the breach, and may take legal action if necessary.

Notification of Changes

GMC must be informed at once by the client if:

  • Any changes occur regarding control of the client or direct or indirect beneficial ownership.

  • Any notable events occur, including, but not solely, fatalities, serious injury, occupational diseases, environmental accidents or disasters, and/or legal proceedings taken by regulators or other interested parties.

  • The client ceases to trade.

  • The client is no longer able to meet its financial obligations as they arise.

JAS-ANZ Symbol
  • Clients shall only use the Accreditation Symbol where it is placed next to the name and/or certification marks of Global Management Certification and client’s own logo.

  • When using the JAS-ANZ accreditation symbol, its size must be proportionately equal to the Global Management Certification.

  • An organization may not place the JAS-ANZ accreditation mark in isolation from the Global Management Certification mark.

  • The JAS-ANZ accreditation mark may be stamped, moulded or otherwise incorporated on a certified product.

  • The Accreditation Symbol is only to be reproduced in the colour combination as shown in below Figure [PMS Reflex Blue and PMS 485 (Red)].

  • The URL for the JAS-ANZ Register (www.jas-anz.org/register) must be displayed when the JAS-ANZ Logo has been applied. If the JAS-ANZ mark is used more than once in the same document the URL need only appear in the first instance.

  • The symbol may be reproduced in a single colour to conform to existing pre-printed stationery or newspaper and magazine articles.

  • The Accreditation Symbol may be uniformly enlarged or reduced but shall be sufficiently large for the wording to be clearly legible.

  • Electronic copies of the JAS-ANZ symbol may be obtained from the Global Management Certification.
